Egbe tells the story of women being transformed into birds. I have carved 4 different gourds telling my interpretation of this story. Many of my early themes covered Nigerian culture and religious folklore. Egbe is the story of the most senior members of a secret women’s society who travel to the forest to change into birds. I used Road Trip as the women in trucks traveling to the forest
