TRANSPORTATION TRANSFORMATION

Fort Works Art proudly presented Transportation Transformation, a solo exhibition by Greg Bahr, in the upstairs gallery during FWADA Spring Gallery Night. In this compelling body of work, Bahr transformed the repetitive rhythms of his daily driving routines into mesmerizing abstract compositions. Using color, pattern, and repetition, he reimagined mundane commutes as visual meditations on movement and time. What began as an ordinary aspect of life became a striking exploration of how routine shapes our perception—and how art can elevate even the most familiar experiences.

Drawing on over 15 years of experience as a preparator at The Amon Carter Museum, Bahr brought precision and depth to his artistic practice. Transportation Transformation invited viewers to slow down and discover unexpected beauty in the everyday. Through his unique perspective, Bahr encouraged reflection on the quiet power of routine and the artistic potential hidden within the seemingly insignificant. The exhibition opened on March 29, 2025, in conjunction with Spring Gallery Night.
